SPORT AND FUN AT THE HALASPACK PLANT The Halaspack plant is diverse in its sporting opportunities Jointly with other regional companies annual sport competitions are organised that are fun for whole family There s something for everyone from fishing to darts competitions and table tennis championships and the teams from the Halaspack plant love to demonstrate their skills and team spirit The children are not just spectators at these family sport festivals They let the balls whiz around or go fishing to win their own trophies in the competitions Football courses through the veins of the Paul Co Austria football team Having fun and bring ing joy as well as the right tactics to the game the newly formed team was able to win an im pressive 3rd place and the coveted trophy from among 13 participating teams at a small field football tournament in Bad Vöslau organised by AK ÖGB Lower Austria in May With maximum commitment and while having lots of fun the team also braved the scorching temperatures at a soccer tournament with 32 participating teams in St Egyden Steinfeld on 2 July 1PAUL CO AUSTRIA GOOD OFFENSE AND DEFENSE PAUL RUNNERS At the 7th Neunkirchen Company Run with 1 200 participants several running and walking teams from Paul Co Austria took to the starting line under the team name Paul Runners on 23 June Over a distance of 5 km the team of three runners was able to take an outstanding 7th place in the mixed gender class The men s three man walking team took 1st place and stood at the top of the podium Giving to charity and staying fit together at the same time Without any pressure to perform but still bringing motivation and a desire to have fun to the starting line 18 employees and their loved ones participated in the 16th RhönEnergie Chal lenge Together with 2 500 participants from more than 100 companies as well as numerous schools and clubs almost 6 km were run and walked through Fulda in outstanding weather and all for a good cause For each participating runner 2 went to the fundraising campaign I need your help The Paul Co team from Wildflecken enthusiastically joined in of course 4 SWEATINGFOR A GOOD CAUSE 2 3 83
